By accessing or using Building Code Academy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Building Code Academy provides online study materials for ICC (International Code Council) certification exams, including study guides, practice exams, flashcards, audio study guides, tabbing guides, quick reference sheets, study plans, and cram session guides. Access requires a paid subscription.
All original study materials, software, and compilations provided through the Service are the intellectual property of Building Code Academy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any content outside of your personal study use.
Building Code Academy study materials contain brief excerpts, paraphrases, and code section references from ICC model codes and standards for the purpose of exam preparation and education. Such references are made under the fair use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107) and are limited to what is reasonably necessary for educational commentary and criticism. ICC code books remain the copyrighted property of the International Code Council and must be purchased separately for exam use.
Building Code Academy respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content available on our Service infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing:

Building Code Academy is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the International Code Council (ICC). We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Study materials are provided "as is" for educational purposes.
Building Code Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email.
